Hi friends,
What a title! It sounds like I had a cosmetic surgery or
something.
Sorry for betraying your expectations but it is more subtle
approach I adopted to fix my face.
When we are tired, our body PH becomes acidic, immune
system goes down, metabolism is slowing down….you name it. Off course, it
affects cell renewal and this is the reason why our skins look dull.
Yes, having endless stressful days, my skin looks so bad. Enlarged
pores, puffiness around eyes and even worse I got an acne spot on my nose!!! Damn, I really
need to sort myself out.
Good cleansing, ladies. Some of you know, I meticulously
religiously use Environ’s products. However, when it comes to cleansing,
Dermalogica has got my vote.
This product is called “Pre-cleanse”. My most-beloved Dermalogica.
It is oil cleansing to remove make-up but if you have a
clogged pore problem, this is a wonderful solution. I am sure, when you apply
BB cream or whatever, you apply them from inside towards outside. If that is
the case, when you are cleansing, move your fingers from backwards. From
outside towards inside. Do not rub harshly, give your face gentle massage. It
works better when you press pressure points at the same time, but let’s talk
about it some other time.
This is another tip of mine. When I rinse, I use these puffs.
Again, do not rub strongly and rinse with lukewarm water.
This puff is quite handy when I rinse neck. Yes ladies, neck! My
simple skin care belief is, cleanse, moisturise and sleep. If I could afford, I
would have a product specially designed for décolleté but I can’t. I use same
products I use for face. Anyway, after cleansing, I wash my face with this.
Then rinse, but this time, I don't use the puff. Then here comes my miracle moisturiser.
Then, these.
That’s it!
Out of curiosity, I bought Crème de la Mer last Christmas. If you have dry skin and
wrinkles worsened by it, I think it might work well. I have combination skin, I
see no remarkable benefit after using it for weeks. Do you know this small jar
of face cream cost me a fortune?
I think I am the only person in the world who says Crème de la Mer does not
work as their products have such well-established reputation amongst
professionals, cosmetic freaks, geeks and bonkers like myself. However, we all
know that everyone is different. Although I think my beauty routine is
relatively simple for a cosmetic bonkers, some of you think it is too much and
laugh at me wasting my time.
Also our financial situation and geographic location are
different. Perhaps I cannot afford things you can and vice versa. I think the
products I use are value for money, as they last for months and more
importantly, they give me the results I need.
If you can have a choice, my dear friends, no matter how much you
can (or cannot) afford, having good cleansing routine won’t go wrong and choose
paraben free products where possible.
