Hi friends,
It was a
real summer day today, wasn’t it? We had 31 ̊C in South Warwickshire.
When it
becomes too hot, I lose my appetite but there was a fantastic person who gave
me this as aperitif. Pear and
Ginger cider!
It was too hot to cook but there was a fillet
of chicken in the fridge. Damn, too nice to waste. To complement the
cider, I made hunter's chicken - typical
pub meal menu.
This is so
easy. Salt and pepper chicken, wrap the chicken with bacon (I used Palma ham),
sprinkle grated cheese and cook it in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes, pour BBQ
sauce (dilute little bit with white wine) then cook it for 10 minutes.
Easy but the
result is almost guaranteed.
Pudding!
My mid week
indulgence….
