Theatre of Life

Hi friends,

Hope you had good time over the Christmas and the New Year's Day. I immensely enjoyed myself in Stratford-upon-Avon during the break,
Ta-dah!

Yes, I watched them all! Oh my darlings, they are really good. If you have time, I highly recommend you to go to Stratford and watch them. People think that RSC's play is expensive. Yes, it can be but one of the tickets cost me only £14.

The rest? Well….you don’t want to know how much I spent to get seats in Row A. I can only say, I have no regrets. It was great entertainment and gave me quality time.

“Life is a theatre.”

This is the famous quote Victor Hugo made. If similar, I actually prefer William Shakespeare’s one.

“All the world’s a stage.”

I used to interpret these quotes that no one is genuine, people are just acting on their own stage. However, since I have become older and experienced life’s ups and downs, my perception became totally different. I understand them that one’s act / performance can change the result from the audience (surroundings) in any way.

What can be the right interpretation? Nothing is wrong, or rather every interpretation can be correct. They are very simple words yet give us lots of thoughts and that could be the performance on a stage, in a theatre and in one’s life.
“Life is like a theatre, but the question is not whether you are in the audience or on the stage but rather, you are where you want to be?”
