Hi friends,
Hope you are
enjoying the last day of Easter holiday.
As usual,
Stratford-upon-Avon and Cotswolds villages are No-Go zones on bank
holiday Monday. Instead, I went to the nearest garden centre to get petunias to make
hanging baskets for summer.
When I was
queuing at a till, my colleague spotted me and we had a very quick chat. Like
myself, she is in her 40s – a couple of years younger, if I remember correctly
- and we used to work for the same
department. I am still in the same place but she moved on and has become a part
of product development team. She was with her new husband and a little baby
girl. She looked absolutely stunning and happy and that made me very pleased.
She is
genuinely a caring lovely person. Always takes time for people around her.
After all,
we all get what we deserve and on that ground, she certainly deserves her
gentle looking nice husband and a beautiful angelic baby.
And this is
what I deserved this morning. As I forgot major supermarkets were closed on
Easter Sunday, I did not have anything fresh and this is the best I could make.
Then, who
can spend Easter without hot cross buns?
I love toasting them and putting some soya spread.
