TAIYAKI!

Hi friends,

Hope you had good few days off.

Guess what I found. Ta-dah!
They are called Tai-yaki. Bizarre, but somewhat cute, aren’t they?

Being allergic to fish, this is the only fish-looking thing I can enjoy without worrying about the consequences. It contains Anko (red bean paste) inside like this.

I will have another exam in 2 weeks, so I had to stay at home for these 3 days revising. Surely I deserve a little treat like this?

Although my birthday is approaching, I decided to postpone it until June. I shall celebrate my birthday in style with my favourite person. That should be good fun.

I like my age. Although everything is getting saggy, I like being in my 40s. I had this conversation with AM the other day when we had lunch in Kenilworth. I feel more comfortable with myself after hitting big Four-Oh. I do not know what I want to be and no idea where my life is heading, but I just like the way I do in these years.

Some people might view myself as a sad old woman. At certain extent, I could be. However, I genuinely think I am lucky and happy and that is my true feeling. I have no need to pretend or make any excuse to anyone. Things are still difficult from time to time to be honest, but I am generally OK.

PS: This is the last article in May. I will be in Germany from Wednesday and when I am back, I will be just too busy with my study and work. After that, I will be in Japan for two and half weeks. I will update the blog in June. Thanks for reading. God bless you and talk to you in June. Until then, take care. XXX
