My latest investment. My Steppes Makeup Kit from Jane Iredale.

My good friend K recommended this to me. This is her own favourite but whilst she was using this, she thought of me, as I am travelling all the time. She is right. This is very handy and colours are absolutely spot-on. You can mix them up to create colours to suit complexion.  I am really pleased with my purchase. 

Breakfasts

Hi friends,

Back from Germany safely on Friday. It was already few minutes after 23:00 and I had no energy yesterday. Spent a day doing absolutely minimum.

My normal topic – breakfast.

Very Japanese style. I like this Zen monk style breakfast. It is high protein and high fibre.

“Out of packet” breakfast cum lunch. Teriyaki chicken noodle salad and some Chinese stuff from Waitrose. The yellow drink is Skinade – my latest craze. 

Lunch @Queen & Castle, Kenileworth

Hi friends,

I went to Queen & Castle in Kenilworth to have lunch with friends yesterday. Apart from myself being ” J”, they are all As. Just like their initials, they are my A team and we had great fun together. We always share good laughs and that is why I love spending time with them. Good laugh is the best antioxidant, my fellow ladies!

As I normally eat like Japanese Buddhist monks, I went for a naughty option. Burger!

AM and AC had fish finger sandwiches.

AH had halloumi.

Then, puddings!!

Truly good time and I immensely enjoyed myself. As well as silly jokes, we could share the serious thoughts, geeky topics (mainly coming from me…), and anything, really. These fabulous people know the game. They do not discount others’ opinion no matter how different it could be from their owns. They are wise and without doubt, one of my biggest blessings in the life.
